KOREAN LETTERS NOW WORK! and don’t turn into question marks YAY
It turns out that I can either get Korean to work or show everywhere with diamond question marks. So I decided to sacrifice Korean to not show diamond question marks…
* Racist cartoon in an English Textbok
Posted on June 30th, 2009 by bukobox. Filed under thoughts.
When I first came to France, I found these cartoons in my English textbook.
Do you think it’s racist?
I live in the past, I don’t care what people think, I’m a different person when the sun’s ut, I never refuse a drink, I don’t speak a froeign language, I’m lost without any dog, Aren’t bothered by a bit of dust, I wouldn’t live anywhere else!
This one was hilarious. But this seems very French too.
If you can’t see the photos, click on them to see them bigger
Sorry guys for the lazy update! I’m doing so many things nowadays and I promise I’ll upload the photos of what I’ve been doing
But I promise too many things right?

So… this is from 2nd of June to the 7th of June (6 days)
Jour 7 lundi (Monday) 08 juin 09: Lac de Garde (Italy)
Before, I never heard of this place before but one thing I will remember is the very small streets with very small shops in front of a very beautiful lake.
How pretty is this.
I’ll take the blue icecream!
My Australian friend talking with a random English speaker.
I love the tshirt! But I lost it…. DAMNIT
Weird Italian toilet.
My artistic photo
Her face expression is so retarded
Jour 8 mardi (Tuesday) 09 juin 09: Milan (Italy)
To be honest, I thought Millan was quite quite ugly. Maybe because we just stayed in the centre of the town, but nothing seemed remarkably very fashionable and hip. Rather I saw more tourists and business man than locals with high sense of fashion.
Ooooo sexy mini car/scooter!
I saw this in Venice too!
Only pretty thing is this church.
There are alot of these people who give bracelets saying it’s free and say we need to pay for it… I was like “no gracias” all the time to these people.
When you go through these gates, there were expensive shops like Chanel, Louise Vuitton.. etc.
Mmmm a turtle bread
EXPENSIVE MCDONALDS. 16 aussi bucks man.
Hehehe I’m so immature
Not Twisties, Fonzies.
Weird tobacco vending machine.
Me and Bryony
We went to a Italian bar and drank italian wine
Jour 9 mercredi (Wednesday) 10 juin 09: Monaco
I would have to say this is one of my favourite city I’ve been to so far. Mainly because the buildings are beautiful, It’s built on a hill, it has absolutely superb panorama and it’s very, VERY clean.
Monaco is independent and is a country thought very small.
“An average person takes only 56 minutes to walk across the width of the country.” Says Wikipedia.
Yellow Submarine!
WATER IS FREAKING BLUE
One of the craziest thing I did.
Me and John saw how blue the water was and wanted to swim in it so we walked for 20 mins to reach the bottom and we reached the port. We touched how clean the water was! and we decided to get naked and swim in our underwear next to all these boats.
This is the blue blue water! It’s a tiny bit dirty, but it was fine.
Our victories photo to prove that we swam in Monaco.
Argentinian tea!
I taught the latinos how to make paper aeroplanes
Jour 10 jeudi (Thursday) 11 juin 09: Avignon (France)
Despite having visited Avignon I know jack shit about this place. There was this all castle (like everywhere else in France) and the place looked really old. But nothing seemed so special. Maybe we were too tired.
On the way, we stopped by this beautiful place.
and we decided to hire a boat!
At night, with the supervision of the staffs, we drank in the bar which was within the accomodation we were staying at.
Jour 11 vendredi (Friday) 12 juin 09: Geneve (Swiss)
We visited the UN place(?) in Geneva. Did you know North Korea is in the UN? And I hope you guys know about the Secretary of UN who is South Korean, Ban Ki-Moon.
Oh by the way, Swiss isn’t part of European Union. But alot of shops accepts euro but they will give you exchange in Swiss Francs. Just a little cool little thing to know!
The final night, we danced our souls away.
She looked like a pokemon ball! Hahaha I first told another girl and then eventually everyone in the room knew that she looked like a pokemon ball except her. Later we told her and then she was happy again.
Hahaha CALL ME
Jour 12 samedi (Saturday) 13 juin 09: Paris (France)
We were exhausted by this day.. I did little shopping and walked around in Paris by myself and after I took the train home.
Finish of the Europe Tour!

Europe Tour
It’s simply impossible all the things I did during this trip…
Europe tour lasted for 12 days and we visited 6 countries (including France). We were on the bus usually for 3 to 4 hours a day. It was one of the best times of my life! But it was such a shame because we didn’t stay in a place for too long. Usually we spent 3 to 4 hours in a city and then we moved on…
I’ll try to break it up into two posts…
For the first part of my Europe Tour!
So… this is from 2nd of June to the 7th of June (6 days)
Jour 1 mardi (Tuesday) 02 juin 09: Paris (France)
To be honest, I think Paris is one of the most beautiful cities I’ve seen so far. You will also find that Paris is beautiful when you compare it to other cities
The famous Eiffel Tower (or the French call it Tour d’Eiffel)
Notre Dame Cathedral
Fellow Asian Aussie! YAY
The Australians, The New Zealanders, The South Africans, The Argentinians and other randoms.
Jour 2 mercredi (Wednesday) 03 juin 09 : Strasbourg (France)
I prepared this card for her! and I got everyone to sign it at the back
Okay. Strasbourg was beautiful too and when I arrived in the city, it felt like it was frozen in time (?)
Important things about Strasbourg:
Since its so close to Germany, Strasbourg is fused into the Franco-German culture.
They speak German in a lot of the shops despite that it’s in the country France
It was Sarah’s 18th birthday and so we picnicked outside with the food we bought in a supermarket.
Strawberry and Lemon Rainboots!!
Jour 3 jeudi (Thursday) 04 juin 09 : Munich (Germany)
One cool thing about Germany:
Although you have to pay 50 euro cents to go to the toilet, you get what you pay for. The toilets are SUPER clean.
And they give you this ticket and then with that you can get 50 euro cents discounts for foods!
You love?
One word which comes immediately to my head when I think of Munich: UGLY.
Another word which comes to my head: BEER
The “Munich” beer sizes were crazy.
Look at the guy’s beer cups. They are like the ones in The Simpsons in Moe’s Bar.
Look at this lady with a dog in the pram. CRAZY!
I don’t know why they have this. Pointless and totally unrelated. Perhaps it’s targeted at Australian tourists?
Nahhh I didn’t swim. I pretended I did in this picture. OMG this picture makes me look fat.
Jour 4 vendredi (Friday) 05 juin 09 : Château de Linderhof (Austria), Innsbruck (Austria)
I don’t know exactly what this Chateau de Linderhof was all about, but it wasn’t terribly fun to go inside. But the day was bearable because we were entertaining ourselves by taking photos of ourselves.
I love this picture. Somehow it reminds me of Super Mario when he can fly…
HAHAHA The right guy’s one of the staff… he is so much like a little kid.
Anyway I borrowed fake glasses from my friend.
My FIRST EVER Korean restaurant I’ve seen in Europe!
Super duper cool thing! I have no idea what they are called though but always seen them on internet and advertising..
Innsbruck was a quite a pleasant city: Nice houses, quite clean, quite romantic. But what I liked more about it was that the people were really nice. And also, it was a memorable day because I met random Korean kids and their teacher. They were splashing fountain water and later the teacher told me that apparently if you put the water of that fountain on your head, you get smarter… if anything can make you smarter, Koreans would try it.
Swarovski is Austrian. So is Redbull. I went inside a 3 level storey Swarovski shop.
Random?
Yummy dinner
Jour 5 samedi (Saturday) 06 juin 09 : Verone (Italy) Lido di Jesolo (Italy)
Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet. And there is a balcony where apparently, Romeo and Juliet was set in.
This is the tunnel which leads to Juliet’s balcony and people write their names there! I wrote mine
Italian icecreams… mmMMmmm
Lido di Jesolo
It was a town by a beach with nightlife!
The water was warm even though it was a cloudy day. It was awesome!
What am I doing.. taking a shit yeh?
Vodka shot! You have to blow it out and then drink it… Vivian don’t kill me haha
Jour 6 dimanche (Sunday) 07 juin 09 : Venise (Italy)
Venise, one only think of endless canals and gondolas ! (Gondolas are traditional Venetian rowing boat)
And it’s funny because in this city, there are only tourists. Hardly anybody lives in Venise, unless they are filthy rich…
Blue Lagoon… I love the colour! (it’s like cocktail btw)
I did karaoke after! Western Karaoke is SO different to Asian Karaoke.. it’s not a room. I sang in front of a whole cafe! Yes there were lyrics so I was fine. I sang Elton John, Sorry seems to be the Hardest Word…
It's kinda private so you need to Login to read more :)
Hang around for Europe Tour II !
Andi!
